Why your blog theme should match your website

It’s important when building (and maintaining) your brand to establish a consistent look across all of your marketing. That means your brochure, stationary, website, advertisements, etc. But this isn’t news to anyone who has done much reading about marketing or branding. However, a very overlooked component is your business’ blog.

Many business today are using blogs to gain visibility, create a sense of community with their customers, establish their expertise in their field, and generate a load of internet traffic. Unfortunately, very often a business’ blog doesn’t match up visually with the rest of the company’s brand.

That is certainly a mistake and businesses need to ensure that their blog appearance is consistent with their other collateral and supports their overall marketing. Here are some examples of blog themes I’ve done for clients to match up to their business websites.
